Why limelight?

For those who open this blog, you might be wondering what limelight is? Why is this blog's name has to be limelight, not lemonlight? Well, here are the reasons.

So it's not "lime + light" = "a light which has lime color" or "a kind of lime which is bright".

In this context, it's not a headed compound, although there's a headed compound of this word as well; it's a non-headed compound, which means the meaning can't be interpreted only from the literal meaning of the words composed in it - That is, if we're talking about the linguistic aspect of this word (morphologically speaking).

Semantically speaking, the limelight here is an interpretation of the writer's, who is me myself, thought. So here it means I hope that this blog can be the focus of public attention, or at least to gain a lot of viewer for my assignment hahah :')

Anyway, these are why I named it limelight~~ (not lemonlight)
